Indian Tadka Maggi

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tomato finely chopped
  • 2 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp black mustard seeds/ rai
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds/ jeera
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp sambhar masala optional
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 maggi noodles pack


  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in the pan.
  • After the oil is heated, add cumin seeds/jeera and black mustard seeds/rai to it.
  • Soon after that, add onions to it and saute it until it turns golden.
  • Then add green chili and tomato and stir it for a minute.
  • When tomato start becoming soft add salt, red chili, powder turmeric powder and coriancer powder.
  • Add 2 tbsp water and sambhar masala. Stir it well.
  • Further add 1 cup water and and put maggi noodles dipping it properly in water.
  • When the water is almost soaked add Maggi tastemaker and mix it well.
  • Serve the Maggi noodles hot!
